Observe wildlife without feeding, touching or disturbing it, follow your guide’s instructions and ask permission before photographing people. If a conservation or community initiative interests you, your curator can explain the programme, who runs it and whether a contribution forms part of your booking.

What does Travel African Time do?
Travel African Time is a luxury travel company based in Cape Town. We plan and arrange tailor-made African safaris, multi-country journeys and Indian Ocean island escapes for travellers from around the world.
How much does a tailor-made African journey cost?
Your investment reflects the season, route, length of stay, accommodation and guiding arrangements. Share your preferred dates, interests and budget with your journey curator; we will design a suitable itinerary and prepare a personal proposal, with costs and inclusions clearly set out before you book.
When should I begin planning?
Planning ahead gives you more choice, particularly for peak safari months, school holidays and small camps with only a few suites. Your curator will check availability and design a well-paced route for your preferred dates, then arrange the bookings once you approve your proposal.
Are your journeys private?
Your itinerary is designed for you and your travelling companions. Some lodge activities and scheduled transfers may be shared; we explain this in your proposal and can discuss private guiding, vehicles and exclusive-use stays.
What level of travel do you arrange?
We specialise in high-end travel, choosing safari camps, lodges, boutique hotels, private villas and island stays for their setting, service and suitability for your journey.
Can you arrange the entire journey?
Yes. We coordinate accommodation, regional flights, transfers, guides and experiences with our local partners. Your journey curator brings these arrangements together in one itinerary, with the inclusions and any shared services explained in your proposal.
Will you support me while I travel?
Yes. Our team and local partners provide 24-hour support during your travels, so you have someone to contact if plans change or you need assistance.
